NeoFlow is a fanmade idol group in the Splatoon Universe created by Anik.
They host a news show and splatfests in Inkopolis Atrium.

Personality and Lifestyle[]
Volta tends to be blunt and brutally honest, although she attempts to soothe her words. She tries to get straight to the point, and often doesn’t understand how people don’t understand certain things. Due to this , she often feels superiority towards others, believing that she is better as she knows more, although she tends to also put on a cheery and friendly persona in front of the media that she claims is only a front as she has gotten in trouble for things she’s said. She also tends to push people if she believes they can accomplish something, but attempts to stay within reasonable limits.
She also adores inconsistency and drama in life. While she wouldn’t go about creating it herself, she loves witnessing things she finds interesting, even though she knows they are terrible for those involved, but does maintain a degree of empathy towards them.
In her free time, she enjoys reading statistical data, and analyzing limitations and biases of the studies they are from. She picked up this hobby from her parents, who don’t enjoy it nearly as much as she does, and claims that it’s because she’s reading results from “more interesting fields”. She also enjoys alternative fashion styles, makeup, and hairstyling, and was the one who cut Rei’s hair, and does both of their hair and makeup before shows.
Volta also enjoys what many would believe to be conspiracy theories, and, in her words, “getting to the bottom of things”. She wishes to spread the truth to others, even if it may hurt, and likes to hint that she is not the same species as her co-idol during broadcasts despite other octolings, including her parents, advising her against it.
In battle, she prefers the slosher, as it is a messy but straightforward weapon. She prefers the playstyle of the explosher, but can often be found using the Kensa sloshing machine for the aesthetic as well as the fizzy bombs. She is a fairly strong ink battler, but often struggles to work with unfamiliar teams. She tends to carry Rei when they play together.
She speaks both Inkling and Octarian, although she mainly uses Inkling in public.

- NeoFlow's catchphrase, "Keep the current flowing!" refers to both electrical currents and oceanic currents. It also refers to the "current" as in the present, meaning to keep whatever is currently happening interesting.
- "NeoFlow" also comes from both electrical and oceanic currents, and the "Neo" part refers to the future, reflecting their futuristic theme.
